Katrina Calihan is the Founder and President of Point of Arrival and is a leadership and positive psychology coach, trainer and consultant.  She is passionate about partnering with clients to enable them to flourish at work and in life.  A key area of interest for Katrina is professional calling – how to find it, cultivate more of it, and eventually live each day with passion for your work.  Through deep listening, emotional intelligence, intuition, openness and humor, Katrina works with her clients to help them align their values, meaning and purpose with their work and life. 


Prior to founding Point of Arrival, Katrina was an established human capital leader, most recently leading human resources operations and leadership development for the Chicago office of Bain & Company.  In Point of Arrival’s consulting and training engagements, she brings a unique blend of expertise in HR, leadership development, talent management, learning, OD and well-being.  She loves exploring the intersection of business and positive psychology, helping to create organizations where employees don’t just survive – they thrive!

Katrina holds a Master of Applied Positive Psychology (MAPP) from the University of Pennsylvania, a Certificate in Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University, a Bachelor of Business Administration from Gonzaga University, and is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coach Federation.  Additionally, Katrina is a certified yoga instructor with over 10 years of experience in mindfulness practices and teaching hatha and vinyasa yoga.

Katrina loves exercise and movement, especially through yoga, cycling, tennis, rock climbing and long walks in the city.  At home, Katrina is a creative vegetarian cook, spending countless joyful hours poring over her favorite cookbooks and blogs.  Katrina lives in Chicago with her husband, Nash.  They love to travel, and together are always planning their next big adventure.
